Scheme 2 – Homebuyer Report

The best way to reach an informed decision on such an important investment as a home is to commission an RICS Homebuyer report. The report highlights any significant defects and urgent matters with a concise recommended course of action. Sufficient information is given to enable you to make an informed decision on whether or not to proceed with the purchase the property. A valuation is an integral part of the report and therefore, if we feel that the purchase price is too high and does not reflect current market conditions, we will inform you of this which may lead to a reduction in the purchase price.

Scheme 3 – Full Building Survey

A Building Survey is considered the most thorough property survey available. This survey will examine all parts of a property in detail, and if you wish to have any further specific areas looked at, for example the feasibility of adding an extension, then a Building Survey is the most appropriate survey for you.

The Building Survey is suitable for all types of property including properties that are listed, unusual or older. It is also the most appropriate survey if you wish to carry out renovation works to a property or whether the property has already had extensions added to it and you want to confirm that they are structurally sound.
